One of the great things about going to festivals and events is meeting other guitar players. There's nothing quite like an impromptu picking session or hearing one of my instruments played by a real pro.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth at the 15th Annual Woody Guthrie Folk Festival in Okemah, Oklahoma, in July 2012. Celebrating Woody's 100th birthday in his home town was really a pleasure. WoodyFest is definitely a treasure---great music and a wonderful vibe. And of course the friendliest people in the world are from Oklahoma, my home state!
A special treat for Jazz Fest 2014 was the Outside the Tent exhibit hosted by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival at their Jazz & Heritage Gallery. It only happens once every five years and featured work by the 2014 Festival's Craft and Folklife participants. All the hard-working artisans appreciated the chance to meet, greet, and admire each other's creations.
